Low-Carb Sauces for Keto Dieters

Regardless of what diets you may have tried in the past, we can all agree on one thing: sauce makes everything better. That's why we came up with a variety of low-carb sauces specifically to keep our keto community on track!

Whether they're buttery and smooth, or rich and earthy, sauces pack major flavor into otherwise regular recipes. If you've ever looked at canned sauces though, you probably noticed that they tend to be loaded with salt and sugar. Little do most people know that sauces are very easy to make, and only require a fraction of the salt and sugar needed to create big flavor amplification. Check out these low-carb sauces:

Alfredo Sauce

This cheesy, butter sauce is PERFECT on roasted veggies, seafood, and meat! The thick, richness of the sauce will help keep you feeling full unlike most sauces, plus it makes every vegetable feel like a delicious appetizer. Seriously, we could eat several bowls of roasted broccoli with ease thanks to this alfredo sauce.

Chimichurri is the perfect sauce for steak. Made with olive oil, fresh herbs, and veggies, chimichurri is loaded with flavor and nutrition. A little bit seriously goes a long way. Next time you make a steak, quickly prep this chimichurri sauce and taste the difference for yourself. It may just be the king of low-carb sauces.

We shouted pesto out as one of our favorite keto dips, but the truth is, it makes an even better sauce! Similar to chimichurri, pesto is an oil-based, low-carb sauce loaded with herbs. A single tablespoon can change the whole flavor profile of your dish. The basil gives it a bright, aromatic flavor that can liven up any recipe in need.
