Tell us about yourself.
In 2017, I gained 30 pounds in less than 6 months even though I was a runner. Ultimately, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism (which is not the one you want). At age 47 and 5’4″ I had been fighting weight my whole life and surely didn’t need this diagnosis. I am a mother of twins, work full time and am a widow as of 2018. I lost my husband unexpectedly in 2018 and that really didn’t help my weight.
Why did you participate in the KETO 30 Challenge?
I have tried numerous programs in my life and had never tried keto as I thought it was similar to another program I had tried in the past and failed. I saw the advertisement with Tim Tebow and read everything I could on the KetoLogic website. I was immediately interested after reading other people’s stories and experience and especially when I read about the 30 day challenge. I thought I can do anything for 30 days and literally had nothing to lose but weight.
Describe your results on the KETO 30 Challenge.
I listed 178 as my starting weight; however, it was probably more as I really didn’t want to know; I was so disenchanted with myself. I ordered my products and got set to start May 1, 2020. I wasn’t really sure what I was going to eat, much less what the keto flu was. Then when I took my first photo and looked at that, I was bound and determined to change.
The month of May I don’t think my body knew what I was doing and I thought I could still enjoy wine and beer and get results. For me, that was not the case. So in June, I was determined to get better results and removed all alcohol and increased my water and BAM that seemed to work. Traction! I have lost 18 pounds! I walk or walk/run (I don’t prefer the gym) and I drink 64 ounces of water everyday!
What advice would you give to someone considering the KETO 30 Challenge?
I have mentally changed as well. I don’t crave bread, chips, crackers like I did before. It is a fact you can change a habit in 30 days. The KetoLogic products have changed my life. I have Raspberry Lemonade [BHB] (with caffeine) mixed with Pineapple Electrolytes every morning instead of coffee. I use the Keto Crisps like crackers or croutons for salads. I am so grateful to KetoLogic for changing my life. I am currently in the July challenge and going strong. YOU can do it – one meal and one day at a time!
